How you filed

The DFA counts from the date shown in each result below. Use that date if you know it.

Arkansas refund timeline
  • Stated processing time: E-filed

    Fri, November 20, 2026 – Fri, December 4, 2026

2–4 weeks after your e-filed return is accepted. The department's stated window ends on the last date shown.

DFA says: When e-filed returns are accepted, please allow two to four weeks for processing. (DFA release, January 18, 2023)

This is an estimate for information only, not tax, payroll or legal advice. It only adds the DFA's published time to your date; it does not know your return's status. Check the official tool for that.

What you need to check your refund

The DFA's refund page does not say what the tool asks for. Have a copy of your Arkansas return ready; most state tools ask for your Social Security number and the exact refund amount on the return.
