What you enter

Every calculation on PlainSums runs in your browser. The amounts and rates you enter are not sent to our servers or linked to an account. Your browser may save a few preferences, such as your display currency, on this device.

If you use a “Share” button, it creates a link that contains the values in that calculator, so anyone with the link can see them. A CSV export from those calculators includes the same link. We do not receive the link. Use Reset or remove the end of the link if you do not want to share those values.

Analytics

We may use analytics to see which pages are useful. We do not knowingly include your calculator values. Like most websites, our hosting and security providers may handle basic request details such as your IP address, browser type and the page you visited.

Advertising

If we show ads in future, advertising partners may use cookies to show relevant ads. Where the law requires it, we will ask for your consent and you can opt out.
